Welcome to

Day Break Valley
Dobermans

Here at DBVD we are not a kennel, we are a family owned and operated facility. Our dogs are raised in our home with our children, spend the days roaming the pastures with the horses and lounging at our sides. Our mission is to provide our dobermans the best home we possibly can to meet their needs. Our dobermans must pass temperament evaluations, health screenings, and must have obtained minimum three  working and/or conformation titles before they are given license to breed.

DBV Dobermans are family pets first and foremost. They compete in events such as Search & Rescue, Schutzhund, Personal Protection, Obedience, Agility, Scent Detection, Herding, Flyball, Dock Jumping, and Waterfowl Hunting!

We are not puppy brokers, you will rarely see puppies available from us.

Pups from other sources will be handled as rescues or re-homing.
This we do actively help with -- Dobermans in need of new homes.
If you are a rescue organization or have a doberman you no longer wish to keep and maintain, please email us your contact
information. We will either offer a home here at DBVD or help find a home for the dog.

Ranch Facilities

Our Stalls offer open fronts, with a mesh center door and new finger latch systems to help prevent escape artists. We also use stall partition dividers, to allow open airy socialization between stalls, or a more private stall for new, or shy horses. Each stall is equipped with automatic watering systems, a rotating feed door, as well as blanket, saddle, and bridle hangers. Cross ties are also found down the isle ways through out the facilities to allow quick and safe access to your equine companion. Stall mats, washrack mats, and barn isle way mats have been created with a recycled natural rubbers, in an attempt to continually support greener solutions. We recently splurged with the new facilities and are installing an infrared equine solarium as well as a therapeutic swimming pool.

We have a covered show arena, 3 outdoor arena's, two round pens, a cross country course, and a driving course. Our property also offers approximately 40 acres of trails for guests to enjoy. Our guest services offer continental breakfast, as well as complementary house cleaning and laundry services.

Ranch Owners

Owner's and Operator's:
Mama T - Me. I am the owner and operator of this facility. I compete in Eventing, Dressage, Show Jumping and Driving. I am also the owner of a website hosting company.
Program Man - Mamas husband, he works at home as a customer support and systems manager. This allows him more family time then most now a days. He does not stick his nose in on farm business much unless it is to lend a hand leading a horse or two, or working with Jullian on general fix up problems.
Catriona - Catriona is a toddler, and shows more interest in spoiling the horses with sugar cubes then much of anything else. She can usually be found toddling about after her mother or her aunt elaine.

Day Break Valley Ranch Policies

:bookdiva: Breeding 101

:bulletblue: Foals genotype is decided on this generator.
:bulletblue: After I have accepted your request for a breeding, you have 2 weeks to complete the breeding picture.
:bulletblue: The breeding picture must be in color and must show at least headshots of both horses.
:bulletblue: Once you have completed the breeding photo, please upload it and notify me by note.

:bulletblue: I will design the foal gender, color, and genotype. I will also provide a projected height as an adult.

:bulletblue: Please be sure to double check all information about the stallion or mare you are requesting a breeding with. All horses have limited breedings available, and that horses breedings may be full. Stable affiliates will get preference over non stable affiliates for breeding slots.
:bulletblue: Some horses may cost points to breed with. Please do not request breedings if you do not have the points.
:bulletblue: The foal does not exist until -you- draw it. Please also be sure to register them with the appropriate registries, as well as head over to Nobody to start the horses training.
:bulletblue:  Day Break Valley Ranch reserves the right to decline any breeding applicant. Do not be upset if you are declined.

:bookdiva: Leasing 101

:bulletyellow:  Some of our trained and finished horses are leased out for events to other stables. Day Break Valley Ranch horses gain valuable experience because working with new teams and different show circuits.
:bulletyellow:  If you are interested in leasing one of the horses listed on our lease listing please note me with which horse you would like to lease, what event you will be using them for, and who will be riding the horse.
:bulletyellow:  I will accept or reject after deciding if it would be a valuable experience for that horse.

:bookdiva: Sales 101

:bulletblue: Once you purchase a horse from Day Break Valley Ranch it is yours. The only request we have is that if you ever wish to sell the horse or don't want it anymore that you offer it back to us.
